I just got back from a week-long stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda, and I have mixed feelings. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff worked really hard to make us feel welcome. Overall, it was a decent getaway, but it didn’t quite live up to the luxury I expected.
